How it works

Integrating Qasimha follows a clear, secure flow from order creation to fulfilment:

  1. Your server creates the order. Depending on your setup, use a payment session if you have a website or app, or a checkout link / QR code if you don't. All API calls happen server-side — only your server ever holds the secret key. See Choose a checkout flow.

  2. The customer completes the hosted checkout. Qasimha runs the entire flow for you: phone verification (OTP), identity verification via Nafath, the credit decision, instalment plan selection, contract acceptance, and the first instalment payment. You never touch card data or identity documents, and no credit decision is made at order creation — the order is simply an invitation to check out.

  3. Qasimha returns the customer to your site. They're redirected to your return URL with orderId, orderReferenceId, and status appended as query parameters.

  4. Your server confirms the order before shipping. Read the latest state with GET /api/v1/merchant/orders/{orderId} and fulfil only when status is Confirmed. Treat the return URL as a navigation signal, not proof of payment — always verify against the API.

  5. A signed webhook provides the durable record. Qasimha sends a signed webhook for every order event, so you stay informed even if the customer closes their browser before being redirected. Use webhooks as your source of truth for order state.

  6. Manage the order after the sale. Fulfil it when you ship, refund it if the customer returns, or cancel it if the order falls through. See Order lifecycle.
